Getting Started with Katalon Store

You can use Katalon Store to find and install plugins in Katalon Studio. You can also view, manage, and review your plugins in Katalon Store.

This document shows you the basic guide to getting started with Katalon Store.

Sign in to Katalon Store​

Before installing plugins from the Katalon Store, you need to sign in to Katalon Store using your Katalon ID. Do as follows:

  1. Navigate to the Katalon Store.



  2. On the top right corner of the Katalon Store, click Sign in. Input your credentials, then click Sign in.

    If you do not have a Katalon account, you can sign up at our website: Create a Katalon account.

    To sign out of Katalon Store at any time, click on your profile on the top right corner of the Katalon Store, then choose Sign out.

Find and install plugins on Katalon Store​

  1. You can find plugins on the Katalon Store homepage, or type the name of the plugin in the Search Plugins text box.



    You can view the plugins on the basis of their type, sort them or view them on the basis of their price.

    Plugins that are free to use display with a Free text at the top-left corner of the plugin. This text does not display for paid plugins.



  2. Click the thumbnail image, and in the product details page that appears, click Install followed by Accept and Install that displays in the dialog box.





    The plugin installs, and a message displays accordingly.



  3. After the plugin installation completes, you need to go back to Katalon Studio to reload plugins. See Reload Plugin.

View and manage installed plugins on Katalon Store​

You can view the plugins you have installed using your Katalon account on the My Plugins page. You can also uninstall plugins that you no longer need.

On the Katalon Store, click on your profile in the top-left corner, then choose My Plugins. The My Plugins page appears with a list of installed plugins and published plugins.

Uninstall a plugin on Katalon Store​

To uninstall a plugin, perform the following steps:

  1. In the My Plugins page, click on the plugin that you want to uninstall. The details of that plugin appear with View and Uninstall options. Click on Uninstall.



    The plugin is removed, and a message displays accordingly.



  2. After the plugin is uninstalled, in Katalon Studio, click Reload Plugins to complete the process.

Download plugin packages from Katalon Store​

As an exclusive feature in Katalon Studio Enterprise, you can download and use plugin packages. To download a package, follow the below steps:

  1. On Katalon Store, click on the desired plugin to access its details.

  2. On the detail page of the plugin, click on the Changelog link.



  3. You can download the plugin packages with your preferred versions.



Ratings and Reviews on Katalon Store​

View Ratings and Reviews on Katalon Store​

You can view the reviews and ratings of a plugin via its thumbnail images on the homepage.

To view detailed reviews of each plugin, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the thumbnail image of the plugin in the Katalon Store home page. The plugin details page appears.

  2. Click the Reviews tab. The reviews and ratings for that plugin are display accordingly.



Submit a review on Katalon Store​

Before you submit a review for any plugin from the Katalon Store, you must sign in using your Katalon ID. A rating is required to submit a review.

To write and submit your review for a plugin, perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the plugin to go to the plugin details page.

  2. Switch to the Reviews tab, then click on Write a Review.

  3. Input your review in the text field, then click Publish to post your review.
